But before you go shopping for a brand new machine, look at your heating elements. Most of the time, the “bottleneck” isn’t the machine itself—it’s just that your lamps are tired. They aren’t pushing heat evenly anymore. Swapping those old tubes for high-density infrared replacements can stabilize your preform heating without the nightmare of a full overhaul. Let’s talk about the heat. We build these replacement lamps to push out more short-wave infrared energy. Basically, by bumping up the wattage, you’re hitting that PET preform with more punch.
