Let’s talk power and heat
The Contiform 3 is picky. If the PET preform doesn’t hit that sweet spot—the glass transition temperature—you’re in trouble. Too cold, and it won’t blow. Too hot, and you’ve scorched your product. That’s why we match the OEM voltage exactly. If you try to sneak a lower-voltage lamp into a high-voltage circuit, you’re just going to pop the filament instantly. It’s a waste of money and time. We also keep a close eye on wattage. Higher wattage means you heat up faster, which sounds great, but you’ve got to make sure your cooling fans can actually keep up. Otherwise, you’re just baking your oven housing.
The gear inside
We use heavy-wall quartz glass. Why? Because these lamps go through a brutal cycle of heating and cooling, and cheap glass just can’t handle that kind of thermal shock.
